Day One: Arrival at Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (PGIA) where you will be received outside the terminal by a driver carrying a Bohemian Tours sign. He will escort you to the marina for a boat trip to the Island of Caye Caulker, a sleepy, slow-going village which will be your home away from home for the first two nights.
Day Two: We connect with the breathtaking ocean and experience awe-inducing marine sites such as: Hol Chan Marine Reserve, parts of the Belize barrier Reef (the largest coral reef on the western coast) and Shark Ray Alley where you will share the ocean waves with nurse sharks and graceful rays. Then you’ll have the rest of the day to enjoy the beauty of the island at your own pace. Here one gets a chance to visit the world famous Split to enjoy refreshments or take a swim in some of the most pristine waters surrounding the island.……..
Day Three: From the mighty ocean we look to the fertile land of Belize as we head to Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve –expansive jungle trails and splendid caves managed by the National Institute of Culture and History (NICH). After a short jungle hike, it is time for a unique Cave Tubing experience in the wondrous Caves Branch River. Witness the tremendous power of water as you meander through the limestone caves of Belize. You will be enchanted by the nocturnal mystery of the Nohoch Che’en cave, before being soothed by river tubing under the thick jungle canopy. The day ends with a drive to Santa Elena Cayo for a stay at the Aguada Motel.
Day Four: A guided tour of Mountain Pine Ridge. Tap into the mystic energy of the ancient Mayan culture at the Caracol Maya Ruins. Challenge yourself to get to the top of the majestic Caana, which is the highest man-made structure in Belize. Our next stop is the Rio Frio Cave, the largest dome in the most extensive cave system in Central America. We cap off the tour with a visit to the all natural Rio On Pools, where one can enjoy a swim or a relaxing waterfall massage. We return to the Aguada for a well deserved rest.
Day Five: Take in the sights as we drive along the Hummingbird and Southern Highways on our way to the Placencia peninsula. Here there is an opportunity to enjoy the local cuisine plus take a short dip in the Caribbean Sea. On our way to Punta Gorda Town, we stop for an interactive experience in making Organic Mayan Chocolate. The evening allows for the discovery of the fascinating customs of the Garifuna people as you are entertained through cultural song and dance.
Day Six: Restore your energy and really get a feel for the magic of this ecological jewel with a day in the Sapodilla Range of Cayes. Enjoy a fun filled day of sightseeing, snorkeling and diving in the refreshing aqua-blue waters of the Caribbean Sea, or simply resting on its enchanting white sand beaches. When the night falls on this extraordinary day, we will return to Punta Gorda Town .
