22 Nov 15: Delhi Upon arrival you will be met at the airport by our representative having a placard displaying your name and transferred to the hotel in Delhi. Overnight stay at the hotel in Delhi.
23 Nov 15: Delhi – Pushkar Train (06:05/ 12:45 PM) Today early in the morning proceed to New Delhi train station to catch a train to Pushkar (the nearest train station is Ajmer, which is only 11 kms from the Pushkar town) Your train leaves at 06:05 hrs and arrives Ajmer at 12:45 Hrs in Noon. Pushkar - It is one of the most respected place for Hindus and referred as Tirth Raj or the king among places of pilgrimage. The town is situated around the beautiful Lake where people come to take a dip with deep religious faith rooted in their hearts. Upon arrival check into the hotel and later on visit the Pushkar Town, the colorful market of Pushkar and enjoy sun set at Pushkar camel fair groud. Overnight stay at hotel in Pushkar.
Pushkar Fair 2015 : The Pushkar Fair, or Pushkar ka Mela, is held every year for five-day as the camel and livestock fair on the bank of Pushker Lake in the town of Pushkar , near Ajmer, located on the edge of the Thar Desert in the state of Rajasthan., India. . It is world’s largest Camel fair apart from selling and buying of livestock and also named as Pushkar Camel fair where around 50,000 of camel assembles for the fair.
It starts from Kartik ekadashi and end on Kartik Poornima which is full moon day. For the Pushkar camel fair camels are washed clean and decorated with various colourful cloths, beads and jewelry for the competition. The most beautiful camel won the competition.
24 Nov 15: Pushkar – Udaipur Drive (290 Kms / 6-7 Hrs) Morning after breakfast proceed to udaipur, en route visit Chitorgarh ( chitorgarh fort), Chittorgarh, also called Chittaur, from the 7th century to the 16th, was the capital of Mewar under the Rajputs. Chittaur evokes memories of great heroism and sacrifice by Rajput men and women in the intermittent battles that they had to fight against invaders from Northwest or Delhi. Chittorgarh Fort is the largest fort in India and the grandest in the state of Rajasthan. After visiting the fort drive to Udaipur. Overnight stay at hotel in Udaipur.
25 Nov 15: Udaipur Sightseeing Breakfast at the hotel and proceed to a city tour of Udaipur. TheCity Palace and Museum is considered as the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. The Pratap Memorial-it has the bronze statue of Maharana Pratap, the legendary warrior king of Udaipur. Jagdish Temple which was built in 1651 AD. Saheliyon Ki Bari is a small ornamental garden. Late afternoon enjoy boat-ride on Lake Pichola (Optional) visiting many Ghats (banks) of washing, bathing etc and enjoy excellent views of the Lake Palace and City Palace. Overnight at hotel in Udaipur. Optional: In evening enjoy cultural show at Bagore – Ki- Havlei.
26 Nov 15: Udaipur - Excursion Kubhalgarh Fort - Ranakpur After breakfast, leave from Udaipur to Ranakpur Jain temples. The cluster of temples, made of intricately sculpted white marble, come across as a marvelous feat of architecture. It would take anyone by surprise to learn that they were built in 1460, so well preserved & sparkling is the marble. The main temple is supported on 1,444 pillars – none of which is similarly carved. After the temple visit, enjoy your lunch at a vegetarian restaurant and drive back to Udaipur. Overnight at hotel in Udaipur. Optional : You can visit the beautiful Kumbhalgarh fort, which was built in 15th century.
27 Nov 15: Udaipur – Jaipur Drive(400 Kms / 7 hrs) Breakfast at the hotel and later on drive to Jaipur, affectionately referred to as the Pink City because of the pink walls and buildings of the Old City. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Overnight at hotel in Jaipur. Evening free for own activities or on leisure.
28 Nov 15: Jaipur Sightseeing Breakfast at the hotel and proceed to Amber fort. Here you will enjoy an Elephant ride. Visit the Amber fort and later return back to Jaipur city for sightseeing of other prominent monuments. Visit the Palace of Winds also known as Hawa Mahal, this elaborate building, now little more than a façade, is encrusted with delicate screens and carved balconies from which the royal ladies, confined to their quarters, could sneak views of the outside world. Also visit City Palace, where you can see Chandra Mahal, Shri Gobind Deo Temple and the City Palace Museum; also visit Jantar Mantar, a royal observatory with masonry astronomical instruments. In the afternoon you can visit the famous rug factory and gem factory, where you can see skilled artisans doing intricate work of gem cutting and polishing. Overnight stay at hotel in Jaipur.
29 Nov 15: Jaipur - Agra Drive(240 Kms / 5 hrs) Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Agra, Agra is popular for beholding one of the seven wonders of the world-the Taj Mahal. The architectural brilliance of the mansion, the Agra fort and the palaces is a clear remainder of the mausoleums of the capital in the 16th and early 17th centuries. Taj Mahal is one of the World Heritage Monuments and attracts maximum number of tourists from all over the world. En route you will visit fatehpur Sikri -The great ruler Akbar set up his capital here in 16th century. OR we can visit famous step well called Abhaneri – chand baori which was built in 8th century. After the visit continue drive towards Agra if time permits admire the beauty of Taj Mahal at the time of the sunset. Arrive and check in to the hotel. Overnight at hotel in Agra.
30 Nov 15: Agra – Delhi Drive (200 Kms / 3 Hrs) Early morning visit the Taj Mahal. It was built by Shah Jahan as a token of his love for his deceased wife, and is undoubtedly the most romantic burial site in the world. Return back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Delhi. Upon arrival check into the hotel for overnight stay.
01 Dec 15: Delhi Sightseeing & Departure transfer
Today, after breakfast check out from the hotel. And enjoy a half day city tour of Delhi, visit India gate, Humayun Tomb, Lodhi garden and drive by the Parliament house & Presidential building. After lunch at local Indian restaurant you will be transferred to international airport to catch flight for further destination.
