Detailed Itinerary

Day 1            Arrive     New Delhi

Arrive New Delhi International Airport. You will be met at the airport on arrival and transferred to your hotel in Delhi (30 mins). Stay at your hotel in Delhi for one night.

Day 2       New Delhi – Pushkar (Train 06:05 / 12:45)

Morning proceed to New Delhi train station to catch train to Pushkar. Upon arrival at Pushkar train station you will be transferred to your hotel in Pushkar (25 Mins), Where you stay for 02 Nights. Pushkar -  it is one of the most respected place for Hindus and referred as Tirth Raj or the king among places of pilgrimage. The town is situated around the beautiful Lake where people come to take a dip with deep religious faith rooted in their hearts. Later in afternoon visit the Pushkar Town, the colorful market of Pushkar and enjoy sun set at Pushkar Lake. Overnight at hotel

Day 3       Pushkar Sightseeing

Morning visit the world famous Brahma Temple and the other famous temple of the town, stroll around the colorful local bazaar. Or you can visit the Savitri Temple -The one-hour trek up to the hilltop Savitri Temple overlooking the lake is best made early in the morning, the view is magical. In evening  enjoy camel ride at sunset in desert. Many Ghats run down to the Holy Lake where pilgrims  are constantly bathing in the holy waters. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4     Drive:Pushkar – Udaipur (280 Kms 5/6 Hrs)

Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Udaipur. Upon arrival check into the hotel. In evening we can stroll through the local bazaar of Udaipur or Can enjoy folk dance performance in Udaipur. Overnight stay at hotel in Udaipur.

 

Optional: En Route to Udaipur visit Chittorgarh fort – one of the largest fort of Rajasthan which was built in 8th century.

Day 5     Udaipur Sightseeing 

After breakfast enjoy the city tour of Udaipur – the beautiful 16th century city is considered to be the most romantic spot in India. Visit city palace, here you will see rooms with mirrored walls and ivory doors, colored glass windows and inlaid marble balconies and the peacock courtyard. Also visit the lovely Sahelion- ki- Bari (royal maid garden), the Jagdish Temple and Local family in Udaipur for evening tea party. Overnight at hotel in Udaipur.

Day 6    Ranakpur – Excursion (Drive 90 Kms)

After breakfast, leave from Udaipur to the Jain temples at Ranakpur. The cluster of temples, made of intricately sculpted white marble, come across as a marvelous feat of architecture. It would take anyone by surprise to learn that they were built in 1460, so well preserved & sparkling is the marble. The main temple is supported on 1,444 pillars – none of which is similarly carved.

After the temple visit, enjoy your lunch at a vegetarian restaurant and drive back to Udaipur. Overnight at hotel in Udaipur.

Day 7    Flight Udaipur – Rishikesh

Morning after breakfast proceed to Udaipur airport to catch flight to Rishikesh. Rishikesh is a small town, lies in the foothills of Himalayas, scenically located where the Holy Ganges River comes down from the Himalayas. Rishikesh catapulted to Western fame when the Beatles dropped by for a visit to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's Ashram. Also Rishikesh is known as Worlds Yoga capital. Rishikesh is associated with Lord Rama and Laxman.


There are many temples to visit in Rishikesh and someone can visit as many as they want, In the evening visit Ram Jhula and enjoy prayer (Aarti) ceremony at river Ganges near Parmarth Aashram. Overnight stay at hotel.

 

Day 8       Rishikesh

Morning & Evening Yoga & Meditation classes. During the day enjoy free time to visit local bazaar of Rishikesh.

Day 9       Rishikesh

Enjoy white water rafting (Subject to weather conditions) and visit Neelgadu waterfall. Himalayan foothill trek to waterfall  (trek is approximately 3 hours roundtrip)

Day 10     Rishikesh

You can practice Yoga in Morning & evening, enjoy shopping, visit Beatles ashram…. Relax and spend time for your own activities.

Day 11     Rishikesh – Haridwar Excursion

Morning you can enjoy Yoga session, later in afternoon proceed to Haridwar – Hari dwar stands for “Gateway of God” . Visit Har-ki-Pauri, one of the most famous place in Haridwar, is believed to be the exit point of river Ganges from the mountains and entry into the plains. You should enjoy evening Aarti (prayer) ceremony at river Ganges.

Day 12     Rishikesh  - Departure

Like all good things, your tour in Rishikesh comes to an end but you will always carry with you memories of this unique and unforgettable holiday experience. Today you will be assisted and transferred (1 hr) to Rishikesh airport to catch your flight to Delhi and then further fight as per your destination!
